Thank you to those of you who have already contacted Senator Girgenti’s office regarding the SIRA bill. Now that the mid-term elections are over, we need to keep up the momentum if we want to get our SIRA legislation posted in the Senate Law and Public Safety Committee this session.
If you haven’t yet done so, we need every single viewer of this page (and your associates, affiliates, etc.) to send a letter or an e-mail to Senator John Girgenti, head of the Senate Law & Public Safety Committee, to get S1635 posted for consideration at the next meeting of the Senate Law and Public Safety Committee.
Please send the attached letter out, on your stationary, or click on Senator Girgenti’s name in http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/members/legsearch.asp, click to send him an email, and paste your letter (after inserting your company info). What could be simpler?
These are the Assembly and Senate bills for 2010-2011:
- S1635 Requires training and registration for in-house Security Officers.
- A2710 Requires training and registration for in-house Security Officers.
To read the bills, go to http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/ and enter the bill #, or enter “security officer” in the KEYWORDS box.
